Christine Rosholt has been actively involved in the arts in many capacities for about 25 years, most recently, as a jazz vocalist and band leader. She is a graduate of the Children’s Theater Company School and has a BFA in photography and performance art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has recorded three CDs, one of which, "Detour Ahead" was nominated as best jazz recording of the year in 2006 by the Minnesota Music Association. Her third CD, "Lipstick - Live at the Dakota" was released on December 17, 2008. She has performed countless gigs in clubs and theaters all over the Twin Cities and beyond, including but not limited to the Dakota Jazz Club, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Orchestra Hall, Fitzgerald Theater, Varsity Theatre, Theatre de la Jeune Lune etc... This past November, Ms. Rosholt was hired by British composer and pianist, Kevin Hall to record 3 of his original songs. Mr. Hall returned in April 2009 to record as CD with Christine, Vinnie Rose, Graydon Peterson & Mac Santiago.
